Handcrafted oak frames in Lincolnshire
Light-filled garden rooms and extensions crafted in our Lincolnshire workshop.
Garden rooms, often called orangeries, are oak-framed structures with plenty of glazing and large patio doors linking your home to the garden; roof lanterns and a wood burner create a cosy retreat.
They can stand detached from the house for a year-round outdoor retreat, or incorporate trusses for extra impact in larger or smaller spaces, either built oak to the ground or on a dwarf wall.
Most of our work is in oak, though we can use the same traditional mortice and tenon techniques in Douglas fir softwood; every frame is handcrafted, unique and pegged together in our Lincolnshire workshop.
We visit your home to discuss the space and develop a design, from traditional and cosy to modern and contemporary.
Frames are handcrafted in our Lincolnshire workshop and brought to site in kit form.
Most garden room frames are erected within a day.
We use direct glazing for water-tightness, and frames can be treated or left to weather naturally.
